How to Track Your Shipment: A Guide for First-Time Shippers
Tracking a cargo shipment is simpler than many first-time shippers expect. This guide explains how tracking works on the Dubai–KSA route, what updates you will receive, and what to do if you have questions along the way.
How Cargo Tracking Works
When your shipment is collected from your Dubai address, it is assigned a unique consignment reference number. This number is your tracking identifier. You receive it on your collection receipt and can use it to request status updates at any time.
Our trucks are GPS-tracked, so our operations team has real-time visibility of every vehicle. You can contact your dedicated shipment coordinator at any time for an immediate status update.
Milestone Updates You Will Receive
We proactively send you notifications at the following stages:
- Pickup confirmed: Your cargo has been collected from Dubai
- Departed Dubai warehouse: The truck is en route to the KSA border
- UAE export clearance complete: Customs cleared on the UAE side
- Saudi import clearance complete: Cleared through Saudi customs
- Out for delivery: The KSA delivery vehicle has your cargo
- Delivered: Proof of delivery (POD) available
What If There Is a Delay?
If a delay occurs — at customs, due to weather, or any other reason — we notify you immediately and provide a revised estimated delivery date. You are never left wondering. We believe proactive communication is what separates a good freight company from a great one.
Air Freight Tracking
For air freight shipments, we provide the airline's airway bill number (AWB), which can be tracked on the airline's website for real-time flight status. We also handle all airport pickup on the Saudi side and provide delivery tracking for the final leg.
