What we pack versus what we refuse
Furniture, appliances, cartons, pallets, and export wrap for GCC trucks. We do not pack leaking chemicals, undeclared batteries in passenger-style bags, or wet food into a dry trailer and call it packed. Dangerous goods need a declared class first.
Why packing changes the CBM
A showroom sofa photographed without a crate is not the cube that leaves Dubai. We quote packing-on when wrap grows volume. Arguing about pre-packing photos after intake is how rates bounce.
Export packing versus moving blankets
Blankets are for closed trucks and short GCC road. Sea to Jeddah or a mixed groupage with heavy pallets needs corrugate and strapping. Tell us the mode before we wrap.
What packing costs, honestly
Labour is time and materials: stretch wrap is cheap; a crate for a marble top is not. We quote packing as a line, then the freight CBM after wrap. Combining them into a silent “all-in” is how people feel overcharged at intake.
Where packing happens
Ras Al Khor Industrial 1 is the default. Villa and showroom packing in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman is a billed slot with a small vehicle. We do not send a crate shop into a Business Bay basement without a loading-bay time.
Furniture, TVs and marble are not the same wrap
Showroom sofas: blanket, corrugate, corner board, crate when the piece cannot travel wrapped. Unboxed TVs: crate or a proper carton with edge protection — a blanket on a mixed trailer is how screens crack. Marble and glass: crate, standing orientation, no mixed steel on top. We photograph edges at intake. Packing-on CBM is quoted before we wrap, not after you see the bill.
What packing costs, as lines
Stretch wrap and a pallet is cheap labour. A villa packing slot in a Dubai tower is time, a small vehicle and loading-bay coordination. A crate for a marble top is materials plus hours. We quote packing separately from the Riyadh or Jeddah freight CBM. Combining them into a silent all-in is how people feel overcharged when intake wrap grows the cube.
Sea versus road packing
Closed-truck blankets are enough for many Dubai–Riyadh furniture jobs. Sea from Jebel Ali to Jeddah Islamic Port or Dammam needs export wrap, moisture protection and lashing. Mixed groupage with steel or drums needs the furniture isolated. Tell us the mode on the first message or we pack for the mode we actually book — then you cannot retrofit sea wrapping after the trailer left.

Common questions
Can you pack at my villa in Dubai?
Yes as a labour add-on. Tower and villa access are different slots from warehouse intake.
Is packing included in freight?
Only if the quote says so. Most LTL rates assume cargo is already export-worthy.
Will packing change my CBM?
Often yes on furniture. A showroom photo is not the cube that leaves Ras Al Khor. We say so before we wrap.
Can you crate an unboxed TV?
Yes as a billed crate. We photograph the screen edges first. A cracked panel at intake does not get wrapped and hoped.
Do you pack in Sharjah or Abu Dhabi?
Villa and showroom slots outside Dubai are billed origin labour, then cargo still comes through Ras Al Khor or loads the export vehicle. Say the pin.
